2.14.22 Club of the Week

Club of the Week: William Penn Sr. HS Cybercats Esports

Welcome to another week at Emerald Esports! Today we’re introducing the Cybercats at William Penn Senior High School in the City of York School District. Nicholas Naugle has recently taken over the general manager role and is ready to expand the club and its resources. They are currently in the planning process of a dedicated esports club space for their competitive members. They have also opened up paid positions for two coaches and hope to expand their membership and staff. We’re excited to see the team grow! While their club space is in progress, you can find the Cybercats playing Smash BrothersRocket League, or Brawlhalla any day after 3:00 p.m.

Nicholas Naugle describes the club as a safe place for students to explore career opportunities, practice good sportsmanship and learn lifelong skills. He says the club has allowed students to discover different career paths and goals after high school.

We are so happy to work with the Cybercats knowing they create a safe place for their students to enjoy esports and video games. From exploring career opportunities with esports guest speakers to assisting with college applications with esports teams, the Cybercats provide outstanding resources for their community. We can’t wait to see what they accomplish as they approach their third year of operation next fall!
